I didn’t know exactly where it would lead.I just knew something in me needed a place to land —my thoughts, my stories, my hobbies, my heart.I didn’t start it to go viral.
I started it to feel more like myself.
What I’ve learned in a year of showing up:
Not to change my mind. Not to pivot. Not to evolve or outgrow what I thought this journey “should” be. A blog can be a playground — not a prison. I’m allowed to build as I go.
I don’t have to prove I’m “doing enough” or “posting correctly.” Consistency matters, but so does joy. Protecting my energy is part of the workflow. Rest is productive.
Creativity. Laughter. Beauty. Connection. Those moments are the heartbeat of why I started. This blog reminded me that fun deserves space, not just whatever scraps are left over.
Every post taught me something. Every idea that flopped, every one that landed, every lesson in between — it all added up.
This blog anniversary is…
A deep breath. A proud moment. A quiet “I did that.” And an excited “What’s next?”
So here’s to one year of Tammy’s Tidbits.
To growth, clarity, curiosity, and courage.
To everyone who’s read even one post — thank you.
You’re part of this story now. 🤍
Tell me — if you’ve followed along, what has been your favorite post or moment so far?
