I love discovering new recipes, especially when they turn out to be simple, delicious, and made with ingredients I already have on hand. This time, I tried a homemade dinner roll recipe courtesy of @DeliciouslyBold on TikTok, and let me tell you—it’s a keeper!
With only seven ingredients, these rolls came together effortlessly. The process was straightforward, making it a perfect recipe for beginner and seasoned bakers alike. The end result? Perfectly fluffy, golden-brown rolls that were as delicious as they looked.
Patrick always loves when I experiment in the kitchen because it means he gets to come home to something warm and delicious. Of all my blog posts, the ones that involve cooking are definitely his favorites—can’t say I blame him!
If you’re looking for an easy and rewarding baking project, I highly recommend giving this recipe a try. And while you’re at it, give @DeliciouslyBold a follow on TikTok for more amazing recipes. Also, if you’re not already following me, you can find me on TikTok at @tammytrimble07—I’d love to connect with you there!
A huge thank you to everyone who follows along on this journey with me. Happy baking!
Dinner Rolls
2 ½ cups warm water
2 T yeast
1 stick butter (melted)
2 t salt
½ c sugar
1 egg
7 cups flour
Combine the warm water and yeast in a large mixing bowl. Add the melted butter, salt, sugar, egg, and flour. Mix until well combined and then knead for 10 minutes (I used my KitchenAid mixer). Put the dough in a well-oiled bowl, turning it once to ensure coated all around. Cover the bowl and let rise for about 40 minutes (or until doubled in size). After risen, punch down and form into rolls. Cover with a towel and let rise for about 30 minutes or until doubled in size. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
I’ll be honest…while I did let the dough rise until doubled, I completely forgot about letting the rolls rise before putting them in the oven to bake. They still turned out fine, but I am curious to see if they taste even better the next time I make them (and let them rise per the recipe!)
