Putting Myself Out There: The Realities of Content Creation

When I started my blog and social media journey, I wanted to create relatable, real-life content. What I didn’t anticipate was just how easy it is to stay hidden behind a keyboard—and how hard it is to put myself out there in real, vulnerable moments.

Talking in front of a camera? Even thinking about it makes me uncomfortable. Don’t get me wrong—I want an audience (because, let’s face it, this online world thrives on likes, followers, and engagement). But letting my guard down and sharing my life feels intimidating.

To the influencers who make it look effortless: hats off to you! Content creation is no joke and it’s not easy. It’s time-consuming, requires imagination, and demands serious planning—it’s truly a process.

Not long ago, I had a total fangirl moment when I tagged my five favorite influencers on Instagram. Some of them actually replied, including Linzy Westman, who sent me the sweetest message:

“You go, girl I’m rooting for you!! it’s so hard to just put yourself out there, but I promise you it gets easier and more fun the more you do it! At least in my experience”

Her words inspired me. So here I am, stepping out of my comfort zone little by little—sharing moments like a video of me getting ready in a hotel bathroom with amazing lighting (check it out on my Instagram). Is it going to go viral? Definitely not, but it is one more step in the direction of doing what I really feel like I’m supposed to be doing right now.

Next on my list? Voiceover videos, and eventually, talking on camera. Here’s to growth, vulnerability, and hopefully making this process a little easier—and maybe even fun.

To anyone reading, thank you for your follows, likes, comments, and encouragement. You have no idea how much it means! 💕
